You know that earlier this year, Jennifer Saunders confirmed that she was writing the script for the movie spin-off of her hit sitcom Absolutly Fabulous. Now she’s said that all the show’s original cast will reprise their roles.
“I haven’t got the storyline completely sorted out yet, but I want to cast everyone who has ever been in the show in it.”
Well, there was no shortage of superstar guests during Ab Fab’s run, so there are megawatt ones to choose from. Some of the many Saunders hopes to bring back for the movie? Kate Moss. Naomi Campbell. Helena Bonham Carter. Sir Elton John. If she could just get a young royal in there (Harry!) Patsy could have some choice beefcake to chase around and British tabloid press would collectively pass out. Stay tuned.
