The entire cast of the Love Boat – and dozens of former guest stars! – will be reuniting at the November 5th naming ceremony for Princess Cruises’ newest ship, the Regal Princess. Even more fun? Wowlebrity Tori Spelling will serve as master of ceremonies for the event. “The Love Boat is one of my favorite shows,” Tori Spelling said in the statement. “And the fact that I get the chance to be part of the cast and guest star reunion is thrilling.”
According to The Ft Lauderdale Sun Sentinel:
The actress also will host Regal’s gold carpet, interviewing celebrities who made a guest appearance on the show. Those personalities include Loni Anderson, Jamie Farr, Pam Grier, Florence Henderson, Jack Jones, Lorenzo Lamas, Rich Little, Kristy McNichol, Mackenzie Phillips, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Charlene Tilton, Joan Van Ark and Dick Van Patten.
I’m DYING. Can you IMAGINE how fun?
Additionally Charo — the guest star with the most number of appearances on the show — will give a classical guitar performance that evening, Princess said.
The 3,560-passenger cruise ship entered service in May in Europe and is arriving in Fort Lauderdale to begin its maiden season of Caribbean cruises running through April. Some of the features onboard include a multistory atrium serving as the social hub of the ship, with a host of dining and entertainment options; an over-water SeaWalk; a top-deck glass-bottomed walkway extending 28-feet beyond the edge of the ship; and the largest pastry shop at sea.
The ship’s naming ceremony kicks off celebrations to mark Princess’ 50th anniversary in 2015.
And – how odd – they all look EXACTLY THE SAME as they did almost 40 years ago. WITCHCRAFT!
