Hokycrap. I can’t decide which story is more important. BOTH are MAJORLY LIFE CHANGING. Both have FAR-REACHING IMPLICATIONS. Which should we discuss first?
Obviously, it’s Dylan O’Brien on his gag reflex. If you’ll recall, earlier in the season Stiles had to pull a mummy’s-worth of bandages out of his mouth, for whatever reason, just trust me, it would take all day to explain. The star spoke to TVLine about that scene, saying:
“I have a really sensitive gag reflex, and EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT (caps and boldface mine); T-Pose, they all knew I was going to hate doing that. I actually threw up on one of the takes – like, immediately. I had to sit with the bandage in my mouth, connected to piled-up yarn that was dipped in goop, and I couldn’t handle that. So there was one take where I’d been holding it back for so long that, as I ripped the tape, I threw up in my mouth. But we kept going, and I pulled it all out, and I was just throwing up. Bits of it was coming out with the wrap, then they yelled cut, and Tyler was like, ‘Bro, did you really throw up?’”
Good to know, boo. I’ll be gentle.
Moving on to the other news: Hold onto your hankies, ladies, it’s true. Daniel Sharman opted out of his contract.
According to MTV News: Following the shocking death of Allison (Crystal Reed) last week, and weirdly hot homo Aiden (Max Carver) in Monday’s finale, executive producer Jeff Davis exclusively reveals to E! News that Daniel Sharman, who plays the so-beautiful-it-hurts-to-look-at-him fan favorite werewolf Isaac, will not be returning for the fourth season when it premieres in June. ”Daniel Sharman came to us, much like Crystal did, and said that he wanted to go out for pilot season and for movies and try something new,” Davis says.
He will be missed. MY GOD, will he be missed. Can’t imagine he’s not going to be snatched up by some other TV show IMMEDIATELY (a la Colton Haynes), but this is a devastating blow to Teen Wolf. Isaac scenes where always the best scenes. Sob.
