Wowlewbrity Nicole Richie is rocking Dubai this week with her fierce Arabian style game, featuring (among other outfits) a vintage Dior abaya-style dress and a black scarf atop her short, pink hair at a VIP meet-and-greet. “I got this a month ago at a vintage fair and when I brought it to Dubai and became inspired by everybody else’s fashion here, I was so excited to wear it,” she said.

Before taking to the Fashion Catwalk at the Dubai Mall to share tips with a crowd of fashionistas, Nicole spoke to a VIP audience, sharing insight into the story behind House of Harlow 1960 and where she plans to take the brand in the future.
“The style here is so inspiring,” said Nicole Richie when asked about her thoughts on Emirati fashion. Discussing her visit for DSF and the first dedicated House of Harlow 1960 outlet in Dubai, the entrepreneur added: “This is my first time in the Middle East and I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m thrilled to discover that Dubai is such a cool, fashion-forward city. It’s such a different world from LA, and it’s really exciting to be here. In fact, I have to say that Dubai is the most fashion-forward city I’ve ever been to.”
“With this new collection I’m throwing out the idea of trends and rules. This is what the new line is about,” she said. “This is the most fashion forward city I’ve ever been to.”
