This. Is. Uh. Maze. Balls – and I don’t even give a crap about cars. But this! This! Why, it’s more like a SPACE SHIP crossed with the BATMOBILE! The self-driving Mercedes-Benz F 015 Luxury in Motion has made its debut, and The Verge’s Chris Ziegler recently took it out for a test drive on an airstrip in California. “This is the future,”he says. “This is absolutely the future.”

It’s a self-driving “research” vehicle that’s not yet street legal and looks more like a space pod than a car.
Unlike normal cars, you don’t have to face the windshield, and the interior is coated wtih touch screens that control things like speed and music as well as letting you chat with your friends. You’re basically riding around inside a giant iPad.
It also talks and there are lasers integrated into the front grill, or course.
The company is hoping to have it on the roads by 2030.
Not sure about the wrap-around video nonsense, but everything else is a yes! yes! yes! The future is HERE!
