It was another fun-filled episode of E!’s new reality show Good Work starring RuPaul, Sandra Vergara, and celebrity plastic surgeon Dr Terry Dubrow where, once again, they checked out the wildest, weirdest, and most wtf beauty treatments on the market today. Check out the top five wildest moments after the jump.
1) No, that’s not a medieval torture device, it’s cosmetic leg lengthening – a Russian technique that adds inches to your height. In limb extension surgery, they break your leg bone, put a spacer in it to make it longer, then grow the bone in between. Ouch! Just wear platform shoes, henny. It’s less complicated and so much more fashionable!
2) Celebrity Bird Watching: My favorite segment, of course, where Ru and crew check out celeb packages. This week: John Legend‘s legendary lump, Pit Bull‘s massive mastiff, Louis Tomlinson‘s wild weiner flop, and Jon Hamm‘s infamous hammaconda (above).
3) Ru got herself an on-camera acupuncture facelift. Between 100 and 300 needles were placed around problem areas (like the jowls and droopy eyelids) which help stimulate collegen, give the skin a nice glow, and tighten the muscles. Did it hurt? Not at all. And it’s a great if you’re doing a Hellraiser look! Treatments cost between $200 and $300 and take about 30 minutes. Ten treatments are recommended and results last up to a year!
4) The Mother of All Media, Kris Jenner, stopped by to discuss her famous clan and the work they have NOT have done. Hear ye, hear ye: Nobody has had their noses done. NOBODY. Kris herself admits to a boob job in the ’80s (then a boob reduction a few years ago) as well as fillers and lasers and botox and a neck lift (on camera!). Later, she answered questions about her daughters, and admitted that Kylie was most likely to steal beauty products from her, Khloe is the one she goes to for advice on men, Kim would probably pay for her plastic surgery if she asked, and Kourtney is most like to give it all up and move to Pacoima. Who knew?
5) We got wig advice from Ru (tip #1: synthetic hair holds curl more than real human hair), then Dr. Dubrow got wiggy with a giant “Glamazon” wig saying “You better work.”
6) And finally, Ru had everyone try out this weird Japanese lip exerciser thing that made them look like blow up sex dolls.
Be sure to watch Good Work every Tuesday on E!
