Oh My GAG! RuPaul’s DragCon is 8 days away!!! So many drag queens. So many celebs. So many exhibitors! I’m making sure that I have some duckets set aside for shopping in between meeting the guests of honor and checking out the programming that’s being offered. Here are the five booths I’ll definitely be hitting up while I’m at RuPaul’s DragCon on May 16 & 17 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
1. The Art of Alfredo Roagui
There is nothing “Meh” about Alfredo Roagui’s artwork — it’s gorgeous! I am in love with his online portfolio and can’t wait to get my hands on a few of his prints!
2. G.L.O.W.
The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling was one of my favorite TV shows to watch as a kid. So naturally, I must stop by and pay Hollywood and the girls a visit.
3. So Much Drama Studios
Now I’m not much of a gaymer, but I am addicted to Dragopolis. I lose track of time whenever I open up this game on my iPhone. I once missed my train stop because I got so caught up trying to defeat Apocalypstyk.
4. Swiss Navy Lube
Winter is over, Spring is in the air, and the men are coming out of hybernation. Having said that, one should always keep some lube in the nightstand drawer. I’ll be stocking up courtesy of Swiss Navy…who apparently carry a variety of flavors. Doesn’t that sound delish?
5. Matthew Burgett Photography
Matthew Burgett is the photographer behind DRAG: The Book — a coffee table book with beautiful photos of drag queens from all over the country. Some of the queens Matthew photographed, like Darienne Lake and Cake Moss, will be appearing at Matthew’s booth.
Tickets for RuPaul’s DragCon will be available at the door, but the price will go up. Don’t wait any longer! Buy your tickets for RuPaul’s DragCon now.
