According to the person who shared the story, Michelle Duggar had a member of the 19 Kids crew removed from the show after she found out he was gay. The incident happened back in when the show was still called 17 Kids and Counting in 2008. The family was heading to New York to appear on The Today Show, and the TLC camera crew was going to record their adventures there. Michelle asked a few TLC crewmembers about the dangers of walking the city streets. She said;
“Well, I hear the city is overrun by… gays… has that been causing a lot of problems?” Michelle allegedly asked.
“Why don’t you ask Jimmy?” one of the crewmembers jokingly responded.
And this is where it got ugly fast.
“It took her a minute to process that the joke answer might mean that there might really be one of these gays she’s always heard about nearby! In her house, even! She pulled the producer over to the corner and started yelling at him and demanding to know if what was just said was a joke, and that she wants to see Jimmy.”
Michelle Duggar then confronted Jimmy about his sexuality, but he didn’t get angry at her for asking a personal question about an aspect of his life that shouldn’t have concerned her at all.
“Michelle asked point blank ‘So… you’re… gay???’ The four of us are staring at this from a distance as if we’re on the edge of our seats, completely shocked that someone in 2008 would even do that, and Jimmy… suddenly strikes a pose like a model in a pinup photo, and responds ‘Well, darling, depends on who’s asking!’”
“After that, Jimmy” (which is not the real crewmember’s name) “ was fired due to causing conflicts with the talent.”

The Duggars have had issues with the LGBT community — she’s against gay marriage, as previously reported and she once compared transgender people to child predators. Critics have called her a hypocrite for trying to paint all LGBT men and women as “dangerous” people after she and her husband tried to cover up their child molester son’s abuse of his sisters.
It’s common knowledge that the Duggars want to prevent same-sex marriage from becoming the law of the land. They supported Rick Santorum, but these days they’re ALL about Mike Huckabee for POTUS. Huckabee recently defended Josh Duggar by complaining about the “blood-thirsty media” and because of the underage sex abuse scandal, Josh had to resign from his job at the Family Research Council, a hate group that opposes same-sex marriage.
You know that at least one of the children on 19 Kids will turn out to be gay, statistically speaking. But the Duggar family tree already has a gay! Evelyn Ruark, Michelle Duggar’s older sister identifies as a lesbian. Radar has reported Ruark, 63, has been in a long-term relationship with her partner, Sharon Callahan and the couple lives together in Cincinnati. Ruark and Callahan aren’t too thrilled with their reality-TV in-laws. In 2010, Callahan told The National Enquirer about the Duggars’ ties to the QuiverFull movement, a Christian sect promoting denouncing ALL forms of birth control. Ruark told the Enquirer:
“We are worried about them. We have often thought that QuiverFull is a cult. It appears to be brainwashing to me.”
Something is off in the first place to have 19 kids and be against OTHER families of any kind. As the firestorm builds, I think TLC has no other choice, but to cancel their show. Even more than the viewers outrage (the people who hate them likely didn’t watch the show to begin with) it’s advertisers they need. If the Duggars have #20, it will likely be off-camera, I feel. And as my friend noted, the real crime against humanity here, Michelle, is THAT HAIR! You didn’t have to announce to the world that you don’t know any gay people… we have eyes, crazy.
