No, Caitlyn Jenner is NOT dating Candis Cayne! Gossip Cop is correcting Star‘s new cover story. The new issue, which hit newsstands on Wednesday, bleats,
“Caitlyn Jenner: I’m In Love!”
Star magazine exclaims Candis Cayne is Jenner’s “hot new love.” Both statements are not true. Cayne is also transgender, and Star calls them a “perfect match” saying they met for the first time less than two weeks ago, but claims there was an “immediate attraction,” and quotes a supposed “eyewitness” as saying the two women “had amazing chemistry.” They use phrases like “prospective romance,” and quotes one alleged Jenner “friend” as saying “Candis would be the ideal woman for her,” and they would “make quite the groundbreaking couple.” At another point, the supposed “pal” rattles off Cayne’s attributes and adds,
“I wouldn’t blame Caitlyn one bit if she fell for her.”
The accompanying article just SUGGESTS there could be a romance brewing. Gossip Cop says the Star saw photos of Jenner and Cayne at a New York Pride event last month, and took note of the pictures they each posted on Twitter from subsequent outings. The tabloid then saw fit to build a relationship story around the snapshots, simply because they happen to be two transgender women spending time together. Gossip Cop says it has exclusively learned Star’s insinuations that a secret relationship is heating up are absolutely not true. As one insider cracked to them;
“It’s wishful thinking on [Star’s] part.”
Well, that didn’t take long. Tabloid speculation and being busted all the same day the magazine hits the newsstands.
