#MustSee: A Brilliant Animated Version of Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” Set to Pink Floyd

The Scream by Edvard Munch – one of the most disturbing paintings of all time – is brought to life by Sebastian Cosor of Safe Frame, and thrillingly set to the song The Great Gig In The Sky by Pink Floyd. Must-see! must-see! must-see! And you must see it all the way through!

Wrote Edvard Munch in 1893:

I was walking along a path with two friends – the sun was setting – suddenly the sky turned blood red – I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence – there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city – my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety – and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.

It literally guts me to read that. I can’t breathe. I FEEL his anxiety. Watch the video below, and then just spend a minute or two gazing at the picture, wondering at its power.
