A special limited edition Cecil the Lion Beanie Baby has been introduced by Ty Warner – with all proceeds going to the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit. “Hopefully, this special Beanie Baby will raise awareness for animal conservation and give comfort to all saddened by the loss of Cecil,” said Ty Warner. The single version of Cecil the Lion Beanie Baby will go on sale at the end of September in retail stores for $5.99, a Ty spokeswoman said.
