Superfab teeny tiny skulls carved from pearls and made into gorgeously macabre rings and brooches by Tokyo-based jewelry designer Shinji Nakaba. All the items on his website are beyooooond amazing and completely covet worthy, but I’m with Dangerous Minds, who says they’d love to see an entire skull pearl necklace by Nakaba. Ugh. Can you imagine? I’d wear dozens of them, Chanel-style, and be the belle of the goth ball scene (is that a thing? It’s probably a thing. And I’m going to TAKE. IT. OVER).

Check them out below.

Pearl skulls aren’t the only things that Nakaba makes. Says Bored Panda: Everything he produces is wearable, and he often uses unconventional materials to create his pieces.

“I just want to bring brand new life to something that has no value,” says Nakaba. “I use not only precious metals and stones, but also everyday things, such as aluminum beer cans, plastic bottle, or even garbage,” he explains on Etsy.
