Philippe started the “designer/boutique” phenomenon decades ago (along with hotelier Ian Schrager) and today the sun never sets on a Starck-designed hotel. They run the gamut from the all-white Delano in South Beach (still one of my faves) to the full-on Sun King Versailles treatment at Hotel Le Maurice in Paris. Check out the other 8 here.
