Spanish artist David Lopera has been making some headlines lately for these not-so skillfully Photoshopped images of celebs like Kim K & Katy P. Don’t look TOO closely, ’cause they really aren’t very well-done, but they get the point across… which is instead of trimming their waistlines and toning them up, he packs on the lbs. Lopera says the photos were created to advocate for more body diversity in Hollywood, but the digital alterations have nonetheless sparked some outrage from people who think the series isn’t empowering, but rather demeaning. What do you think? I’m reserving judgement here and just enjoying me some former celeb stick figures proudly flauntin’ their extra flab.
