After TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting, the enormous, ever-expanding Duggar family lost a LOT of income. The network paid them $45,000 per episode, so some estimates say they might lose as much as $25 million in future earnings. Josh Duggar, whose child molestation scandal brought the empire crashing down, recently welcomed his fourth child.
Now things are desperate at the Duggar household, but the family doesn’t believe in allowing their daughters go to work, so their earning capacity is essentially cut in half. (Not that baby-making isn’t work, mind you…) The family has been looking for a new funding source lately. On the Duggar Studios YouTube page they were asking for donations, but now the donation buttons have disappeared. (Wait, Duggar Studios? I guess having a bunch of kids and putting them on TV makes you Universal…?) The Duggars wanted $$$ to continue providing “fresh content,” which could be why they haven’t posted a video in over three months. Twitter wasn’t so impressed with their appeal and has some advice; STOP HAVING KIDS!
Duggar Studios entire line of “Merch” consists of one grey t-shirt. We found another message t-shirt through another source, that sums up a lot of people’s attitude toward this clan.
