The fact that the legendary performer Patti LaBelle can throw down in the kitchen is common knowledge at this point, but in case you didn’t know, Ms. Patti has also recently become The Sweet Potato Pie Empress. A guy named James Wright posted this incredible reaction video after trying the delicious sweet potato pie (now being called “The Tickle-Me-Elmo of Thanksgiving) which in large part put the #PattiPie up into Internet legend territory. The video has over 7 million views on Facebook, and if you haven’t seen it, WATCH IT NOW. You simply can’t miss watching this man basically turn into Patti after eating her pie.
Right away, demand for the #PattiPie skyrocketed, and people took to social media to discuss.

The best part, though, is that according to the Washington Post, Patti LaBelle herself called James Wright after:
“She kept thanking me and she kept telling me how much she loved me and she just kept telling me to be me,” Wright said. “She was like, ‘boy, you can sang!’”
